ABOUT PF CHINA / China Presentation
PlaNet Finance China is a not-for-profit organization that works
for sustainable social and economic development in China by
supporting and promoting the microfinance sector, and by using
information & communication technology.
PlaNet Finance China is registered as the China representative
office of PlaNet Finance. Its official name is "French PlaNet
Finance Association Beijing Representative Office." The Chinese name
for PlaNet Finance is Pei Feng. The characters "Pei" and "Feng" mean
"abundance" and "wealth" and were chosen both for their meaning and
for the acronym "PF".
PlaNet Finance China has non-profit status and has been approved by the Chinese government as a tax-exempt organization.
With a mixed Chinese and international staff, PlaNet Finance China implements activities in rural and urban China . Through training and technology services, we have served local microfinance programs from over 20 different Chinese provinces .
PlaNet Finance China works closely with government and international agencies, local microfinance programs, NGOs, research partners, and the private sector.
